PEEK, Bernice Anita, 81, of Brandon, passed away peacefully at home on October 7, 2016. Born in Rockaway Beach, NY; she enjoyed crocheting, doing word search puzzles, adult coloring books, cooking and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Valrico. Bernice was always concerned about taking care of others before herself and was a loving wife (of 48 years) to her late husband, Franklin. She is also predeceased by her parents Louis & Margaret Ott and her brother Robert Ott. She is survived by her two beautiful children; son Frank Peek, Jr. (Patricia) and daughter Ann Nelson (Matthew) as well as her grandchildren Brandon Nelson (Yvette), Candace and Melissa and great grandchildren Ceridwen Nelson, Brandon, Dylan and Hunter. Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., with funeral service at 2:00 p.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
