SUGGS, Bessie Ellen (Spells), 83, of Seffner, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 5. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother as well as a devoted Christian woman. Bessie lived her life for her family and Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 65 years, Robert Suggs; children, R. Floyd Suggs (Lorraine), Ronnie Suggs (Mary), June Seaton (Chuck), J. Carlton Suggs; brothers, Glen Darby, Douglas Darby; sister, Louetta Peterson; sister-in-law, Earline Suggs Melton; grandchildren, Robert, Alicia, Savanna, Nathan, Tim, Desiree, Steven, Jordyn, Fran, Ronnie, Christopher, Timmy, Rachel, Bubby; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and a beloved extended family. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Thursday, October 9 with funeral service to follow on Friday at 11 am. All services will be at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. Bessie will be sorely missed by her family and those who knew her, but will never be forgotten.
