A proud graduate of the University of South Florida, Betty dedicated more than 30 years to teaching at Limona Elementary School. She poured her heart into her work, shaping young minds with patience, creativity, and genuine care. Teaching was not just her profession—it was her calling.
Betty was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and used it faithfully throughout her life. She sang in church choirs, offered solos that lifted the spirits of many, and traveled on missionary trips to share the gospel through music and ministry. Her voice was both a gift and a testimony.
She also found joy in painting, arts and crafts, and dreaming of traveling to see the beauty of America. Her creativity and curiosity were woven into everything she did.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Howard and Ina Faye Spence. She is survived by her two sons, her daughter, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly and prayed for faithfully.
Her legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.
