

She was born on October 10, 1930 in Loudon, Tennessee to the late Annie Pearl and George Mitchell Lewis.
Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brandon. She also enjoyed gardening, but her true passion was for bowling.
Betty is survived by her beloved children, Linda Legris Hall (Dennis), Clyde “Eddie” Jenkins Jr. (Maryann); grandchildren, Shawn Legris (Mandi Hotchkiss-Legris), Jacob Jenkins; great granddaughter, Jerrilynn Hotchkiss; many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Edward Jenkins Sr.; siblings, Fred Lewis, Jack Lewis, John Lewis, Lucile Steel, Helen Stringwell and Virginia Lewis.
A visitation for Betty will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM until the service at 3:00 PM, Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
Betty will be laid to rest with her husband Clyde at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa, Tennessee.
