With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Beverley Brown, whose generous spirit touched countless lives. Beverley embarked on her final adventure on July 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and kindness.
She never met a joke she couldn't improve or a room she couldn't brighten. Beverley approached life with dignity and purpose, and she dedicated herself to excellence in all her endeavors. Beverley's forty-one-year career in education was marked by her unwavering belief that every child deserves a champion. She always had encouraging words for her family, friends, and students. As an educator, Beverley attended post-secondary institutions, earning a Bachelor's, Master's, and Educational Specialist Degree.
Beyond her many talents, she loved dancing, teaching, spreading the word of God and enlightening the youth, and making generous donations to worthy causes. She wore her faith beautifully, and the congregation will always remember her by the signature Sunday hats that mirrored her elegant grace and lively spirit.
Beverley was born on February 5th, 1948, to Albert and Louise Hayle in Jamaica and is survived by her devoted husband Derrick and sons Donreece and Warren, siblings Lloyd, Charles, Basil and Hyacinth, nieces and nephews. As the devoted mother of two sons, Donreece Hans-Albert Brown and Warren Dean Brown, Beverley considered parenthood her greatest achievement. Her forty-nine-year marriage to Derrick was defined by deep friendship, mutual respect, and countless adventures.
The Family will host a celebration of life on August 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Saint Andrew Episcopal Church in Tampa, Florida, where Beverley once served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and a member of the vestry.
