Beverly Whited (Appleman), 86, went home to our Lord on January 12, 2021. Her husband of 60 years, William Whited, and their son, Jeffrey Whited, precedes Beverly in death. She is survived by children, Gregory Whited, Jacqueline Whited, Robin (Dave) Morton, sister, Ruth Appleman, brother, John Appleman, grandchildren, James (Amber) Tyson, Zachary (Janelle) Hutchinson, Robert Whited, Alyssa (Ryan) Archer, Bryan Whited, great grandson, Elijah Tyson, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Beverly was committed to excellence in all endeavors, from schoolwork (Salutatorian at Summit High), helping to raise siblings, professional jobs, raising four children, volunteering for many causes, and being a help to anyone in need. She loved to cook and bake, always trying new recipes and was an accomplished seamstress, hand stitcher, quilter, and crafter that enjoyed making gifts for others. Bev loved to dance! From barns to ballrooms she was always on the floor, even without a partner. Bev loved to travel. She and Bill enjoyed hitting the highway in their RV exploring new places and making forever friends during their journeys. Bev’s personality engaged all she encountered. She made lasting impressions with her humor, opinions, and wisdom. All who know Bev have experienced her heart of gold along with her spunk and feistiness.
Beverly was a lifetime member of the Methodist church. The family will attend a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, it was Beverly’s request that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association-Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 14010 Roosevelt Blvd #709, Clearwater, FL 33762.
