Billie Raye Bonds, 81, passed away July 31st. Born to Bruce and Emma Lucille Bonds on October 7, 1939 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Herbert Bonds and sister Linda Bonds Handy. Survived by his wife of 40 years Kimberly Raybuck Bonds. He is also survived by his sons Vance, Bruce, Toby and Scott Bonds. He is also survived by his and Kimberly’s daughters Librada, Priscilla and Angelita and granddaughter Aubrey. Also survived by Grandchildren Danielle, Travis, Lena, Kaley, Emily and Osha.
Bill Served the Air Force 1957-1961, stationed in North Africa. He and his family moved to Santa Cruz, Ca 1968 and lived there until he and Kimberly moved to Florida in 2014 to be closer to her family. He spent many years selling insurance. But, he considered himself and entrepreneur and during the later years developed an interest in real estate. His passion was classic automobiles, especially Cadillacs! He served on board of The Skills Center during the 1970’s. He received the Carnege Hero Award for participating in stopping a machete attack on the Pacific Garden Mall, Santa Cruz, Ca. May 20, 1988.
Service will be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on October 15, 2021
