Carlos Antonio Escalante, 58 passed away August 24, 2015. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Saturday, September 5th at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. Funeral Service will be 12:15pm Sunday, September 6, at Concord Baptist Church 2224 Corrine St. Tampa. He was a chef at Columbia Restaurant from 1974 to 1981 and a member of El Perpetua Socorro Catholic Church. Carlos enjoyed swimming, boxing, photography, climbing and soccer. He is survived by his wife Leticia Escalante, parents Julia Alicia Escalante and Carlos Guardabo; sons; Saul Escalante, David Escalante and Antonio Escalante; one brother; Roberto; one sister Adelaida; and five grandchildren; Jones, Anthony, Alexis, Daniel and Isabella.
