Carol Vanessa Stotts-Goff

Carol Vanessa Stotts-Goff transitioned to her eternal home on July 5th, 2023, at Tampa General Hospital. Carol was the beloved wife, soulmate, and best friend of Kenneth Michael Goff SR., to whom she was married for 39 years. Carol was born in Brooklyn, New York and was the daughter of the late William and Vernice Stotts (Jackson).

Carol was a woman of many talents and showed her love and passion for helping others through her various occupations that included management and secretarial professions. Although retired from the work force, her desire to continue helping others never left her.

Carol enjoyed bargain shopping at the local flea markets and any retail shop with a good sale. Carol most importantly loved relaxing at home with family and close friends.

Carol was a devoted and loved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her everything. Carol was always there for her family, ready to help in any way; with an encouraging word, a helping hand, a comforting hug, or a joke to ease the tension. Her loving, energetic and friendly personality will be missed.

Carol was strong in her faith and attended and served in her church faithfully. Carol was blessed in this life; her faith has become sight.

Carol is survived by her husband, Kenneth M. Goff, one son, Shawn M. Goff and his wife Kathleen of Tampa, FL, two daughters, Nicole V. Goff of Tampa, FL, Delisa M. Goff of Tampa, FL.

Two step-sons, Kenneth M. Goff and his wife Terricka of Jacksonville, FL, Marion Weatherspoon and his wife Ovida of Fitzgerald, GA, one brother, Irving Stotts of Summerville, SC, one sister, Regenia Smith and her husband Michael of Ruskin, FL, six brother and sister-in-laws, Vivian Gray and her husband Fred of Tampa, FL, Lloyd Goff and his wife Essie of Jacksonville, FL.

Marilyn Goodrum of San Antonio, TX, Harold R. Goff and his wife Carol of San Antonio, TX, Timothy Goff and his wife Sharmagne of Atlanta, GA, three grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carol’s Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 14th, 2023, at Grace Baptist Church 114 Kingsway Rd., Brandon, FL. 33510 at 9 AM.

A funeral service for Carol will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 114 Kingsway Road, Brandon, FL 33510.
