Catherine Crowder Church, 63, passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2010, from natural causes. She was from a pioneer Tampa family and was preceded in death by her parents, Eston Crowder Jr. and Margaret Ely Crowder. She attended Dale Mabry Elementary, Madison Junior High, and H.B. Plant High School. She was an honor graduate of the University of Tampa and taught at Anderson Elementary for over thirty years. Cathy is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Caroline; and sister, Margaret Crowder of Brandon and Tampa; and many relatives. Cathy will be missed for her good heart, kind ways, and forever as a much loved wife, mother, sister and friend. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Stowers Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 501 N. Marion St., Tampa, FL 33602.
