Charles Henry Jackson Sr, who is also known as “Bucky,” age 71, suddenly passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Bucky was born in Camden, New Jersey, but resided in Wauchula, FL, where he would be found almost every Sunday morning tending to his yard.
Bucky enjoyed NASCAR and WWE, but most of all, he enjoyed the ones who called him Poppa. He was a man who didn’t think you needed many words when a few were just fine. Those few were always right to the point because Bucky was a man of action; that’s how he showed his love. He showed up when it was needed and never asked why; he just did.
Bucky was a lot to most but everything to his beloved partner, Sherri Sewall. He leaves behind a loving and lasting memory to all who knew him. Please join us in a celebration of his life on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 11:00 to 11:30. Then, a memorial service will be held at 11:30, and light snacks will be served afterward.
