PARRIS, Chuck Jr., Chuck was an Evangelical assistant to his predeceased brother-in-law, Charles Strickland and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving in Vietnam. He was predeceased by his son, Chris; father, Charles Sr.; and sister, Pat. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Denise; two sons, Charles III, Stoney; three daughters, Anissa and husband Jack Thompson, Jessica and husband Lee Pearce, Erika and husband Will Schwartz; mother, Mary Parris; two sisters, Fran Strickland, Charlene and husband Buzzy Buzbee; ten grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home entombment to follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to ALS Association in honor of Lee Pearce, or American Cancer Society in honor of Buzzy and Devon.
