With deep love and profound sorrow, we share that Clarence Hardwick went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2025. He passed away peacefully, with his beloved wife of 49 years, Wanda, by his side, reading their favorite scripture just as they had done countless times throughout their life together.
Clarence is survived by the love of his life, Wanda Hardwick, who walked faithfully beside him through every season. He was a proud and devoted father to Jason Hardwick, Christa Romero, Charity Newell, Sarah Hansen, and Julia Houle. He leaves behind fifteen treasured grandchildren and two precious great-grandchildren, each of whom brought light to his days and held a special place in his heart.
Clarence lived his life as a true man of God—steady, humble, and unwavering in his faith. He was the quiet strength of his family, a gentle encourager, and a living example of Christ’s love. His dedication to the Lord, his deep devotion to Wanda, and his boundless love for his children and grandchildren were the hallmarks of his life.
To know Clarence was to feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped, the prayers he lifted, and the love he gave so freely.
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing he is now in the presence of his Savior. His memory will forever be a blessing, and his love will continue to guide us until we meet again.
A memorial service will be held at the House of Hope Church, 4320 W Bay to Bay Blvd, Tampa, FL 33629. The service will begin at 10:30 AM on Sunday, November 30th. Light refreshments will be served following the service. Burial will take place at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511 at 3:00 PM.
