JONES, Clarence "Jimmy", on December 7, 2014 God brought home our Angel, Clarence "Jimmy" Jones. Jimmy was a legend in his Brandon neighborhood. He was the "go to guy" mowing lawns, watching neighbors dogs and always there when anyone needed anything. New neighbors would watch in awe as Jimmy would introduce himself and say "whatever you need". Jimmy was the most unselfish person any of us have ever met. They don't make them like Jimmy anymore. And then there were the stories. Stories of his Coast Guard days in the Korean War, of his days as an engineer with CSX Railroad and his best stories of his fishing days with Bob Mahoney. We will miss his stories. On the morning that he passed we can just see God calling our Jimmy "Jones to the Bridge"! Jimmy is survived by the love of his life, Trudy Jones; sisters-in-law, Barbara, Carolyn and Elizabeth Jones; many nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Frank and wife Karen Genuardi; best friends, Debbie Raub, Burt Campbell, Liz Walters; Steve and Valerie Anderson whom he was like a father to. A memorial service will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Stowers Funeral Home. In lieu of Flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to LifePath Hospice.
