David (Dave) Chambers Casper, 88, died Monday December 1, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on January 28, 1936 in Rochester, PA to Donald and Dorothy (Chambers) Casper. He attended Freedom High School and joined the United States Navy in 1954. Dave married Norma Smith on November 10, 1979. He loved family, friends, and lived life to the fullest! He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycle riding and being of service to friends and neighbors. He was a member of Millwright Local 1000 for nearly 52 years, American Motorcycle Association, Retread Motorcycle Club and Buick Club of America. He is survived by his sister Donna Casper, Dallas, TX, son Edwin Casper, Ponte Vedra, FL, daughter Kelly Casper, Fort Wayne, IN, stepson Rick (Cathy) Smith, Hillsdale, MI, and stepdaughter Connie (Jay) Dendy, Otto, NC, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; he was proceeded in death by his wife Norma Casper and parents Donald and Dorothy Casper. A Celebration of Life for Dave and Norma will be held at Millwright Local 1000, 9711 Hwy 92 E. Tampa, Florida 33610 on January 25, 2025 from 11AM to 2PM.
