Dave was my best man at my wedding in 1989 in Panama. We had some crazy times in our travels. I lost track of him over 28 years but proud to say I knew him and he was a good man. Wow. Some good times. Loved his stories on fishing the other Panama City areas. He was a story teller. Once told me for such a big boy you sure are soft. We proceeded to prove that theory wrong against some guys in Kaiserslautern Germany in 1988. Spent 4th of July at Sembach AFB then went to Landstuhl to watch blue angels crash planes. He wanted to go home to see family but always made the most of the time he had--snorkeling fishing swimming hiking etc.

I worked with Dave for years at Electrospace/Raytheon and had great respect/admiration for his knowledge/work ethic. We worked together on many projects that spanned the globe in support of our customer. He will be sorely missed as a co-worker and friend.

To the family of Dave Roberts, I wish to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Although I cannot count myself as a close friend of Dave, I have worked with him since he came to Electrospace in Richardson, Texas in 1987. I found Dave to a be an exceptionally focused individual. He said what he would do and did what he said. He was a person that you could count on whenever there was a difficult assignment and he would expend enormous amonts of energy to make sure that everything was done correctly. I respected his character and forthrightness. He will be missed. Respectfully, Joe Tuckness

Pat and family, I want to express my deepest condolences to you all. I have known Dave for 5 years but due to our busy work schedules, we were rarely in the office at the same times. However, I will miss more than anything, the fact that he always made me feel like "ONE OF THE GUYS" when he was around. I will miss the shared stories of the "ROAD WARRIOR". But most of all, I will miss the hardy, belly rolling, infectious laugh that he had that would make you laugh until you cried! He will be missed!

Respectfully, Teresa Gardner (Largo, FL)
