Deborah Joy Connor, age 66, passed away in Lakeland, Florida. She was born in Conestee, South Carolina, to the late Harold Dean Connor and Mary Frances Connor. Deborah lived a life surrounded by those she loved most. She shared many happy years with her life partner, Matthew Fritz, enjoying time together at the beach and taking trips to Georgia—moments that brought her great joy and peace.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her daughter, Heather Pearce, and her husband, John Pearce; her beloved grandchildren, Mary, JJ, Everly, and Oliver Pearce. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Funsch, and her husband, Doug Funsch, along with their daughters, Kensie and Peyton Funsch; and her brother, Ronald Connor, and his wife, Christine Connor.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Dean Connor and Mary Frances Connor, and by her brother, Dale Connor.
A retired TSA agent, Deborah spent her final years enjoying retirement, cherishing time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of family, her gentle presence, and the meaningful connections she built throughout her life.
