Our condolences.  I barely knew her but I could tell she was loved by many and will be missed terribly.

I had only met your mother after she was sick but it is obvious she was a woman of style and love. You take after her Darlene:)

There are no words to express the respect I feel for Darlene and Russ's efforts to make Doris's final years as comfortable as they could. Our condolences to the entire family and hope that they can all find peace in that she is with her beloved husband celebrating their reunion.

Thank you mom for all the wonderful memories that will always be in my heart. Your kind spirit you had, your forgiving nature, that smile!!!  Even the Alzheimers could not completely take you from us, there was always a little bit of you still there. The only one who could take you away from us was our Lord and Savior, who took you home to be with him and ease your burden here on earth. Dear Mom, I can't begin to tell you how much I miss you! I look for the monitor to see how you are at night and there's no one there. I get up in the morning and the first thing I do is go to check on you and forget that you aren't there any more. I put a picture of you on your bed so now when I go to check on you I see you. I want to remember you as you were before you left us.The fun & good times we all shared with you. You will always be in my heart and I will never regret putting my life on hold to be your loving daughter and caretaker for the last 3 years. You almost made it to your 85th birthday but we will still celebrate it with you in our hearts. We will be together one day again till then enjoy your reunion with the family up there.
