I just found out that Doris had passed away.  She was such a very sweet lady and I am truly sorry for your loss.  Her mom and my granddad were siblings.  My prayers are with your family.

I'm so sorry to here of Doris' passing..I just found out from this post. My mother-in law, she treated me as family even after Patty and I split up. I am deeply saddened, as is my Mom, and our prayers go out to Patty  Bobby Dave and all the family. She will be missed.

You both are in my prayers.  Believe that she is above and watching over you, and that she is with lots and lots of the Hialeah gang (including Mom).  Each day write down a wonderful memory of her and smile!

I remember watching Mrs. Worthy play her card games lol. :) I believe watching her play, made me love them too. She was a very sweet and kind woman.

I never had the pleasure of knowing Sister Doris Worthy, but just the comments and compliments made on her behalf are more than enough to me to believe that she truly was more than a fine Christian Woman.
