Dorothy Marie Davidson

Dorothy was born on July 22, 1933. She grew up in Cicero, Illinois where she attended J. Sterling Morton High School and graduated in 1950. Dorothy met her husband Herbert Egli at her sister’s wedding. It was love at first sight and they married in November 1951. Herbert was a farmer. They bought a farm in Wisconsin where they lived with their five children, Robert, Kenneth, Donna, Debra, and Darlene. When Donna married and moved to Florida, all the family moved as well. They all lived in the Tampa area since 1980.

After Herbert passed away, Dorothy found love again and married John Davidson, who she met at church. She fell in love again and married him. Then John passed away after six wonderful years of marriage. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Debbie, her husband Herb, and second husband John.

She is survived by her sons, Robert and Kenneth, her daughters, Donna and Darlene, and her step daughters, Jennifer and Diane who remained close to Dorothy after their father passed away.

A funeral is scheduled for 10am July 15th at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
