

Earline Israel Parker—beloved wife, devoted mother, honored grandmother, and cherished Grammy—passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, in Brandon, Florida, at the age of 84. Born on December 30, 1940, in Magnolia, Mississippi, to CB Israel and Ruby Lucille Cooper Israel, Earline was the second of ten children.
On December 23, 1958, Earline married Ronald S. Parker, a young USAF Airman, beginning their 66-year journey together. As a military family, they traveled the world, living in South Carolina, Hawaii, Georgia, Illinois, Germany, Kansas, and finally settling in Brandon, Florida. Earline was a devoted wife and mother, raising four children: Susan (Sue) (Terry) M. Harrigan, Ronald S. (Stu) Parker Jr., Mark L. Parker, and Glen A. Parker.
Earline is survived by her husband, Ronald S. Parker; children, Sue, Stu, and Glen; siblings, Bobby (Sandy) J Israel, Varnell (Lucille) Israel, Johnnie Harriet (Wesley Carl) Lee, and Edna Mae Somerhalder; 7 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark L. Parker; grandson, Justin R. Parker; parents, CB and Ruby Israel; and siblings, Betty Jo Fountain, CB Israel Jr., James Larry Israel, Valentine Moss, and Margaret Edwina Fitzgerald.
A passionate bowler, Earline enjoyed traveling to tournaments and working at Oakfield Lanes. She also loved Christmas, tending to her plants, and, above all, her family. Earline was the matriarch who kept her large extended family together through life's joys and challenges with her strength, resilience, and unwavering love.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, FL, with a viewing from 9:00-11:00 AM, service at 11:00 AM, and burial at 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery. Earline's brother, Bobby Israel, will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Earline's life.
