Efrain "Frankie" Morales

Efrain Morales Nieves “Frankie”, age 73, of Valrico, Florida went to be with the lord on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Frankie was born August 29, 1948 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Serafin Morales and Esmeralda Nieves.

Frankie retired from General Electric; he also worked as a mechanic and owned EMN Auto in Erie, PA. Frankie, his wife, and youngest daughter moved to Brandon, FL from Erie, PA in 1997.

A few of his hobbies include carpentry, building computers and building motors. If you needed help with your computer or car, he was the guy to call, and everyone knew it. He had a love for wrestling which was something he watched with his dad as a kid. He never missed a night of wrestling, even while in the hospital and up until the day he passed. Classic cars, traveling in his RV with family, recording memories on his camcorder, listening to 50’s and 60’s oldies music; his favorite artist was Elvis Presley. He truly had a passion for engineering and deconstructing anything that was mechanical in nature if it had moving parts, he wanted to tinker with it. He loved to understand how things worked. If it was broke, he was fixing it.

Frankie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Sarita Morales whom he married on December 24, 1969; his 4 children, Yvette, Alexander (Marna), Frankie (Tami), and Heather (Jeremy). 12 grandchildren; Marissa, Miah, Mateo, Tarianna, Ava, Emma, Denise, Jeanette, Gilbert, Michael, Zachary, Alyxandria and six great-grandchildren, 10 siblings; many extended family members and friends.

A visitation will occur Monday, April 4, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with services to follow at 6pm, Hillsboro Memorial Gardens 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. A graveside service for family will occur Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 10:00 am at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
