She was a beloved grandmother to ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride, joy, and meaning throughout her life.
Elena put her family first in all things and had a tremendous impact on everyone she met. She was the heart of the family, the steady presence who worked quietly but faithfully to keep everyone connected, communicating, and close to one another. Her love created a sense of home wherever she was. She devoted herself fully to raising and caring for her children, always making sure they were fed, comforted, protected, and surrounded by love. Her greatest joy was simply being Mom and Nana, and much of her life was expressed through the everyday acts of care that shaped the foundation of her family.
Known for her creativity, she expressed herself deeply in the years before she lost her sight, leaving lasting impressions through her talents, care, and quiet strength.
Her life was defined by love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for who she was, a guiding light whose influence shaped the lives of those fortunate enough to know and love her.
