Adams, Elizabeth A., 96, passed away at her daughter’s home in Clearwater, Monday, July 11, 2011. She was born July 27, 1914 in Letcher, Kentucky. Elizabeth was predeceased in death by her husband, Thair Adams and two grandchildren, Tim Shoemaker and Mark Landrum; sisters, Virgie Bailey, Brilla Allen Wilkinson and Grace Easter and infant brother, Kenneth Easter. She is survived by five children, Donald (Jessie) Adams of Paducah, KY, Betty (Ron) Shoemaker of Kokomo, IN, Joan (Cash) Hilliard of Clearwater, FL, Linda (Jim) Snapp of Wabash, IN and Carol Stevens (Tom) McFarland of Tampa, FL; sisters, Audrey Carter Quillon and Hazel Cree; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was a member of Central Christian Church of Tampa, FL with her husband and First Christian Church of Clearwater, FL in her later years. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, from 6-8 PM with Funeral Services Sunday, July 17, at 3 PM both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760. Arrangements under the direction of Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon, FL.
