Elizabeth A. Folsom, age 81, of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Elizabeth was born April 14, 1940 in Athens, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, Christian and friend to many; always putting the needs of others first. She was preceded in death by John, her loving husband; and sisters, Barbara Buttrum and Juanita Scheurman and brothers, Emanuel Parris, Jr. and Ronnie Parris. Survivors include her son, Ricky A. (Cheryl) Folsom; son, Dennis W. (Virginia) Folsom; grandchildren, Richard, Olivia, Jake, Chance and Luke. Sister, Geneva Motes; sister, Mary Coleman; and many nieces.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. Following the visitation will be a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.

Elizabeth was a warm friendly person. We all learned together from each other at Friday Ladies Class. We will miss her singing so much. She was a great prayer warrior. I will miss our talks and sharing about her family which she is so proud of. Thank you for your friendship the last nine years.
