Whitt, Ellen Willie Mae, 88, of Riverview went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2012. She was born on September 27, 1924 in Wimauma, Florida to the late Jesse and Annie Rogers Raulerson. Willie Mae was a Hillsborough County School bus driver for 32 years and never had an accident. She loved every child she ever drove on her bus and considered all of them her children. She loved her family, friends and neighbors. She loved to talk, most especially about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She played the guitar and harmonica for about 40 years and loved to sing and listen to music. She loved to write poems. Willie Mae was one “special little lady”. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, J.W. Whitt, her parents, sisters, Mary Frazer and Pauline Wilson and her adopted father, Jake Dean. She is survived by her three children, Gloria Eloise Whitt Cufaude (Tom), Vince E. Whitt (Cathy) and Gail Janet Whitt Swilley (Gene); 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 11, at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon.
