Eunice Cowart Lusk was born in Greenville, Madison County, Florida on July 20, 1925 to Susan McLeod Cowart and Lewis Charlie Cowart. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer "Rusty" Lusk; brothers, John, Charlie, and Adolphus; and sisters, Gladys, Blanche, and Loettis. She attended Cotolla Texas High School and San Antonio Business College. She married Elmer "Rusty" Lusk in 1948. She leaves behind her two sons, Ronald (Patti) Lusk and Robert (Jo-An) Lusk; four grandchildren, Charlie (Shannon) Lusk, Cody (Angela) Lusk, Austin Lusk, and Amy (Justin) Peacock; and six great-grandchildren, Aubrey Lusk, Braylee Lusk, Jensen Lusk, Leighton Lusk, Avery Peacock and Luke Peacock. Eunice was a former administrative secretary at Hillsborough County Hospital and President of the Hillsborough Welfare Board Credit Union retiring in 1987. She was a talented artist and enjoyed round/square dancing, traveling, games and bowling. She was an active member of Brandon Newcomers Club and Hope Presbyterian Church. A celebration of life will take place at 11am on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home; family will receive guests at 10am.
