Forice L. Simmons, 91, of Seffner went to be with the Lord on Sunday October 4, 2015. Forice was born in Suwannee, Florida on January 11, 1924. Forice was a World War II veteran serving from 07-14-1943 to 01-11-1946. His medals and commendations include: Bronze Star, Purple Heart, WWII Victory, Army of Occupation with Germany Clasp, Combat Infantry Badge, Marksman Badge with Rifle Bar, Good Conduct, Middle Eastern Campaign with 4 Bronze Stars. He retired as a foreman for Florida Highway Maintenance. Forice was a member of First Baptist Church of Dover. His hobbies were gardening and maintaining his lawn. Forice's pride and joy are his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his previous wives Shirley and Betty; survived by a son: Dennis (Marilyn) Simmons; daughters: Adonna Gentilini, Linda Tuten and Sara Buhr; 11 grandchildren: Valerie, Natalie, Andrea, Coley, Alfred,
Lee, Jennifer, Danielle, Vanessa, Carly and Joshua; and 7 great grandchildren.
