Howard, Franklin “Bud”, 89, of Tampa entered into rest Thursday, November 21. Franklin was born in Waterloo, Iowa to the late William and Clara Howard. He enjoyed fishing and hunting during his spare time, as well as woodworking and working on cars. He was a longtime member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church of Tampa. He is predeceased by his two sisters, Wilma Cox and Betty Erdmann. Franklin is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Norma; sons, Larry Howard and Paul Howard of Tampa, FL; daughters, Linda Shellito of Saint Paul, MN, Jeanine Howard of Tampa, FL, and Marjie Batchelder of Abilene, TX; 14 grandchildren, Valerie, Alyn, Philip, Stephen, Renaye, James, Nicki, Ronny, Chris, Eric, Betsy, Suzette, Jennifer and David; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held November 27 at 3PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home of Brandon, Family will receive guests one hour prior to service.
