Fred graduated from Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport, FL. He proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Enterprise. Following his military service, he managed W.T. Grants Department Store. President of Eli Witt Company. Owner of Tobacco Depot.
Fred’s hobbies were Fishing, Golfing & Hunting. His Favorite Sports Teams were The Tampa Bay Rays and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Pat) Hoyland. He is survived by his brother, Mike (Michael) Hoyland, his son, Jeffrey Hoyland and wife Tamara; and two daughters, Jennifer Hoyland Williams and husband Jeff, and Karen Hoyland Winter and fiancé Greg; and grandchildren, Austin, Matthew, Chad, Daniel, Karlee, Kyler and Chloe; and great grandchildren, Liam, Ellie and Cove.
He will be profoundly missed & forever loved. A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date. It will take place at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
