I loved going to Aunt Gerty's & Uncle Charlie's house in Stoneham in the summers. Most of the O'Loughlin family would be there. We would get to spend time with the Aunt's, Uncle's and cousins. I miss those days.
Uncle Charlie, Elaine, Debbie, Carol and Chucky, I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Gerty will be missed.
Love you all.

To all the Hicks family,

My late brother, Tom, married Carol and became part of the Hicks family for many years.

My brother had great affection for Mrs. Hicks. Tom called her Boston Strong long before that title was coined by the media.

He also loved to talk to Trudy and I knew better than to come over to visit him on Sunday mornings. He was chatting with Trudy on the phone long distance and did not want to be interrupted. At all!!

I am so sorry for your loss but I know you are all strong in your family ties and memories. Thinking of all of you, Karen Dorrough

My heart is heavy, I have loved every minute that I was able to spend with Aunt Gerty. So many memories but I was beyond blessed with the opportunity to have made some new ones with her over the past year. She was a quiet but mighty matriarch for her family. She will be missed tremendously by all of us. Please know how much I love all of you and wish you peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. We have so many happy memories of our times at your Stoneham house: playing in the yard, swimming, running races in the yard, the uncles playing horseshoes while the moms/aunts sat and talked under the trees. Aunt Gertie will be missed by all who knew her as she was such a gentle person. Love to you all.
Jean
