Glenda Stiles Lucontro

Glenda Stiles Lucontro 71, of Tampa, Florida went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2017. She was born in Tampa to the late Ralph A. Stiles and the late Bonnie Smith Stiles. She was a gentle soul that will be missed by her family, friends, co-workers and those that were blessed to know her. It is not often that one gets to know a person who fought health issues as hard as she has for the past 10 years and at the same time continued to work as a senior paralegal on a daily basis. Her strength, character and fortitude are a testament to her strong beliefs in God, Family and facing responsibilities without complaint. Our courageous mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt is survived by her daughter Samantha Lucontro Worthan, her two grandchildren Brooke Worthan and Joshua Worthan, her sisters Mary Ann Stiles, brother-in-law Barry Smith and Mildred Bridgette Stiles, her brothers Johnny Stiles, sister-in-law Georgianna; Earl Stiles, sister-in-law Linda; Carl Stiles and sister-in-law Arlene; her step-sister Ruth E. Knight, nieces Hollis, Rhonda, April, Katie and Courtney Stiles, Amanda Smith, Nancy Llewellyn Dennis, Carol Highsmith, Kimberly Ingram, nephews Wesley, Stephen, Jeffrey, and David Stiles, Andrew Smith,Michael Llewellyn, Willie Llewellyn, Chuck Gould, Danny Grey numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her brother, Glenn Stiles , step-mother, Virginia Stiles, step sisters Julie Mickler, Linda Grey step brother Robert Gonzalez and nephew Chuck Rutland. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on July 11, 2017 at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon; celebration of life will take place on July 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Stowers Funeral Home; internment will immediately follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu or flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lung Cancer Center of Excellence at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
