

Glenn Odean Offerdahl, age 96, passed away peacefully at home in Lutz, Florida, on August 8, 2025. Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, on October 30, 1928, Glenn lived a life marked by service, devotion, and love for his family and friends.
He proudly served his country for 26 years in both the United States Army and Air Force, retiring with the distinguished rank of Chief Master Sergeant. His military career was a testament to his discipline, leadership, and unwavering commitment to duty.
Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Enid Offerdahl; his parents, Ingval and Eunice Offerdahl; Two brothers; Five sisters; and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his brother Jack (Jerrie) Offerdahl of Cherry Valley, California; daughters Linda Taylor of Lutz, Florida, and Karen Offerdahl of Rancho Cucamonga, California; grandchildren Destiny Taylor of Largo, Florida, Alicia (Justin) Umpierre of San Diego, California, Robert (Kelly) Taylor of Lutz, Florida, Aliya (Armen) Avanes of Woodland Hills, California, Ricardo Gamez of Woodland Hills, California; and six great-grandchildren.
A devoted family man, Glenn spent his retirement traveling across the country with Enid, cherishing time with loved ones and creating lasting memories. His humorous spirit, quiet strength, and deep love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
A private celebration of his life will be held in accordance with Glenn’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Glenn’s honor at www.alz.org.
