Grace Patricia Graves, age 81, of Riverview, Florida entered into rest on Tuesday August 6, 2019. Grace was born January 13, 1938 in Tampa, Florida. As an infant, Grace was adopted by Agnes and Ira Shaffer. She grew up in the Tampa area where she attended Hillsborough High School, graduating in 1955. Growing up, Grace spent a lot of time at her mother's beauty shop in their home as well as on 200 acres of land that family members owned. This was where she learned to shoot her first rifle and rode her first horse, Nelly. The family's home was always open whenever someone needed a place to stay, whether that was for a short while or a little bit longer. They could always count on a good meal and a place to sleep.

Later in life, Grace spent time working as a pharmacy technician and enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Grace is survived by Jeffrey Arbisi, Ronald Arbisi (Patricia), Stephen Graves (Michele), Margaret Graves, Glenda Booker (Matthew), and Daniel Graves (Kristy), as well as nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Miss Gracie,
Although more words cannot express The depth of the loss we feel. I met you and your family when I was 13 you invited your new neighbors for dinner I loved your cooking,
I remember the days where
my mother and father
(Harry and Sally) came over almost every Sunday and played penny poker, And All of us kids would be out playing.
I will always keep these memory dear to my heart.
My Heart and thoughts and prayers are with your family
Our life on earth is but a moment In God’s internal plan
With Love to the family

Ms.Grace,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message. You were the joy in our day when we got to work. You were the smile that kept us going, we are all so proud of the fight you put up. I will always remember the flowers you kept from your trays and your infectious smile that kept us going. You will never be forgotten by our team. We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be part of your wonderful story. And to your family, I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling right now, just know that Ms.Grace is looking down on you with a big smile and a lot of love. Our forever guardian angel, thank you Ms.Grace.

Grace was part of the family in A4Med at Brandon regional hospital. She was always so grateful with all the staff. She would write a recognition for us every time she was admitted. She even bought us some pizza one day. Miss grace you will always be in our hearts. RIP. There is no words for your family especially your daughter who always was there to comfort you and take care of you. God bless your family and give them strength in this difficult moment

My heart hurts as I've lost a sweet loving friend. Grace I'm going to miss you and our monthly calls we had. The laughs and the advice but I'll see you again one day. Until then hold me a place near you. Love you my "buddy" and friend ❤ God rest your soul. 🙏
