It is with deep love and gratitude that we honor the life of Grace Swain Yeager, who passed away peacefully at her home in Valrico, Florida, of natural causes on November 12, 2025. Grace lived a full and exciting life.
Grace was a well known and widely respected concessionaire. Beloved by the BlueGrass Shows community whom she traveled with for 30 years and was a fixture at the Ionia Free Fair, the Florida Strawberry Festival, and the Mississippi State Fair for many years.
Grace is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Yeager; her brothers Aurthur and Richard Swain; her son Jack Poole; and her grandson David Higginbottom.
She is survived by her daughter Kathryn Higginbottom (and son-in-law David Higginbottom); her daughter-in-law Dawn Poole; her five grandchildren—Jonathan Poole, Jason Poole, Corey Higginbottom, Austin Higginbottom, and Jessica Higginbottom; five great-grandchildren—Luna Poole, Jackson Poole, Colton Higginbottom, Daisy Higginbottom, and Callie Grace Higginbottom; and her nephew Richard Swain.
