Redmon, Grover, 89, of Riverview passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2013. He was born on August 15, 1924 in Marshall, North Carolina to the late Grover and Maude. Grover was a United States WWII Army Veteran. He was a long time member of Providence Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his devoted wife of 66 years, Willa; sons, Gary Redmon and Douglas Redmon. Survivors include his son, Glenn Redmon and his wife Sheryl; sister, Martha Payne; grandchildren, Ryan Redmon and wife Amy, Brad Redmon, Kristy Lee and husband Michael, Keri Slater and husband Justin, Kara Mawdesley and husband Aric, and Tyson; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Aedan, Lily, Liam, Fiona, Keira, Kaylen, Krista, Kadence, Mekhi, and Amara; and daughter-in-law Gwen DeBord. Funeral Service will be held 10AM on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Providence Baptist Church of Riverview, Florida. Family will receive guests one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Building Fund Ministry of Providence Baptist Church.
