Well papa this must be the next chapter, I hope you write your best one yet. You know the kind where your running around chasing the girls in the yard playing tag, or me and you on our motorcycles cruising through the backroads or my personal favorite you the lead singer in another band like before. Either way I hope you do it pain free and always know you where my dad from giving me away at my wedding to delivering my daughter, you stayed and that meant the world to me I’ve told you before but not recently I love you papa. And will miss you dearly, thank you for being there xoxo

No words can describe the loss that we feel or the pain but we all know he's no longer suffering.

My grandfather would always make a comment about how he isn't our biological grandfather and it bothered him to the core. I dont know if he truly felt like it made a difference or not. All I know is this is my papa and has been my papa since the day I was born.

I never called anyone else my papa, or thought otherwise. He will forever be my grandfather.

I'm going to miss the endless conversations about his past adventures. From scuba diving to the airforce. I enjoyed living his life through his memories. I was never bored sitting there watching him explain his story with such passion. He would laugh at the silly things he used to do and in return it makes me smile. I know he had a life filled with love and excitement.

My grandmother will miss him most of all. The two of them together was just a spectacle to see. The love they have for one another is beyond measure and it showed.

I have too many memories to list them all here but I want the world to know my papa was one in a million. I've met a lot of people over the years and no one would come close to resembling my papa. He was so amazing. So loving. I'll miss you papa, so much. RIP papa.

I Will Always Love You and I will never forget the love that you gave and the kindness that you gave to me ever since day one. I'm sure going to miss making you your special favorite dishes hot wings and the love that you have for your red velvet cake oh and I forgot beef jerky. It was such a blessing and I'm so grateful that God had put you into my life. But I know one day we shall meet again and gods heavenly Gates. I love you Papa and rest easy in peace God bless.

Words cannot and will not describe the pain I've been feeling since you left us 😔💔 You were hard, but you loved even harder. When I needed you most you were there! Through the ups and downs I always came back to my Papa! The memories we have together are endless and I wouldn't even know were to start... It brings me peace knowing you are finally okay now.. Even though you are not here with us physically you will forever remain in our hearts and in our minds. I love you to the moon and back! Until we meet again.. Your, Sammy girl ❤

Howard was a good husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Over the years we enjoyed bowling with Howard (and Sandi) and playing cards. There was nothing like bringing in the New Year with a game of Spades (cards)! Howard was loved and he will be missed.
