Howard F. Schafer, Jr.

Howard is survived by his wife, Estella; children, Fred of China, Clair of Ohio, Patrick of Ohio, Kerry of Ohio, Michael of Arizona,. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard F Schafer Sr, and Catherine J. (Lingenfelter) Schafer, Sisters Virginia, Jeanette, Beverly and step son William Callihan II.

Howard was born on May 29, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio to Howard Sr. and Catherine Schafer. He graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology (Carnegie Mellon University) in1959 with a degree of Bachelor of Architecture, College of fine arts. He married Estella in 2000. Howard was a gentle, kind man that enjoyed a quiet simple life.

Howard had a deep faith in God and loved serving the Lord which brought him great peace.

A Memorial gathering is scheduled from 2:00 to 3:00 pm with the service starting at 3:00 pm on Friday December 12, 2025 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33594.
