Ida Marie Kirk

Ida Marie Kirk, 93 of Riverview, Florida passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 3, 2022. She was born on January 5, 1929 in Staten Island, New York to the late Anna and Frederick Koster. Ida worked for years as a lunchroom cook at Riverview Elementary with the Hillsborough County School System and later pursued her bookkeeping certificate and worked as a bookkeeper for Woolworth Department Store in Downtown Tampa on Franklin Street until it’s close in 1991. Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Kirk Sr. and her three sons: Allen Kirk Jr., Clifford Kirk, and David Kirk. Ida is survived by her daughter, Renee Kirk Smith; her three grandchildren: Veronica (Roni) Harville, Shawn Smith and Brenda R. Kirk as well as several great grandchildren, cherished neighbors and friends. A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM - Hillsborough River State Park Rec Hall – In lieu of flowers; please make donations to Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
