Ivan leaves behind his loving wife Evelyn of 28 years. He is the cherished father of 4 children: Blaise Makkreel of Tampa, FL, Ivan Jr., Andre and Amber Campodonico of Staten Island, NY. He is also survived by his only sister Giocanda Solorzano. He was the loving uncle and grandfather to his beloved nieces, Lyra, Dalila and Noami and his 7 grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
A native of Guayaquil Ecuador, Ivan came to the US when he was 8 years old. Raised in Staten Island Ivan worked for Anheuser – Bush and the NYC transit authority. He retired and moved to Apollo Beach, Florida with his beloved wife Evelyn where they built their dream home together.
Ivan was devoted to the Lord and touched many people with his effervescent smile. Many will miss his daily devotionals. Ivan was most at peace when surrounded by nature with his beloved parrot James and family. He was a rare soul with a golden heart and his presence in the world will be missed dearly.
