Jackie Wayne Spraggins Jr.

long, hard battle with pancreatic and bile duct cancer.

Jackie was born on November 2, 1973 to Jackie Wayne Spraggins, Sr. and Gracie Irene

Spraggins. Jackie graduated in 1990.

After graduation, he landed his first job with his father at Jackie Spraggins Painting, Inc.

Eventually he took over the business when his father retired. Jackie started riding motorcycles

with his mother and father then began to ride with his daughter. He enjoyed hunting on the

family property in Georgia with his daughter, Courtney. In his free time, he especially loved

spending time with his kids and grandkids and also enjoyed drawing and coloring.

Jackie is preceded in death by his father, Jackie Wayne Spraggins, Sr., sister Deborah Irene

Spraggins, grandmother Venice Irene Spraggins, grandfather Calvin “Bo” Spraggins, uncles

Charles Spraggins and Junior Spraggins, and aunt Charlotte Irene Spraggins.

He is survived by his mother, Gracie Irene Spraggins, fiance Melissa Jones, daughters Kay

Forman, Brianna Marie Spraggins, Savannah Nicole “Nikki” Spraggins, Courtney Rae

“Porkchop” Spraggins, Daughter in law Kyara “Kiki” Heaton. Sons Devan Blake Spraggins, Tyler

Heaton and Shane Heaton. Grandchildren Isabella Marie Spraggins Martin, Oaklynn Spraggins,

Raelynn Spraggins and Tristan Heaton. Sister Suzanne Jackson, Brother in law Dale Bowman,

Billy Peel Sr. (wife Erin Peel), Nieces Heather Peel (Husband Billy Peel, Jr. P.F.C), Brittani

Medina (Husband Arcadio), Nephew Austin Bowman (Wife Kayla) Great Nieces Miranda Peel,

Aubreella Bowman, great nephew Billy Peel III.

I stood and I watched as my Brother rode by

It wasn’t the way it should be

He rode not his bike, but in a long black cage

And he rode by himself not with me.

But I shed not a tear for this brother of mine

For he lived free and loved his lifestyle.

So ride on my brother and rest in peace

Till we meet again after while.

A visitation for Jackie will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
