James William Braddy

BRADDY, James, 76, born on April 23, 1936 in Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Feburary 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by this father, Warren G. Braddy and mother, Evelyn Hacker. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy; brother, Terry (Carol); sister, Judy Hudson (Ervin); daughter, Teresa Stewart (Mike); sons James Jr. (Lisa) and Mark (Jennifer); and grandchildren Christopher (Jennifer), Nathan, JC, Jonathan (Justine), Kylie, Marlie, and Bailie. Jim served in the National Guard and the US Air Force for 10 years, and retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Nativity Catholic Church for 47 years. He enjoyed fishing, coaching youth sports, and had a great deal of appreciation and pride in the beauty of his backyard. Jim loved his family very much, and spent his life building a strong and loving family with his wife. He was a devoted husband, father, and PawPaw. He will be deeply missed, but will always be watching over us from heaven. In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation to the Angela Musette Russo Foundation 620 Marphil Loop, Brandon, FL 33511. A visitation will be held at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon, Friday, March 1from 2-4 p.m. Funeral at Nativity Catholic Church and Grave Side Services following at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, March 2 at 10:30 a.m.
