James Francis Costa

James is survived by his son, Dennis Costa (Stephanie), also of Wesley Chapel and siblings Theodore Costa in Detroit Michigan, Raymond Costa in Dover Delaware, Rose Nataile of Bethel Park PA, grandson Daniel Costa (Jenny), Blake Costa and great- grandchildren Sophie Mae, Caleb and Jonas all of Wesley Chapel and is preceded in death by his wife Virginia Costa and son Timothy Costa (Rhonda).

James was born on May 13th, 1927 in Donora, PA to Joseph Costa and Helen Greco. He graduated from Donora High School in 1948. He completed multiple electrician certifications between 1949 and 1976.

James enlisted in the Army in January of 1945 with the 11th Airborne unit during WWII. James was a radio operator as well as a paratrooper.

He married Virginia Caruso in June of 1949 while in Donora PA then moved to Cleveland OH and upon retirement moved to Tamarac FL and later to Wesley Chapel FL.

Visitation will take place at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on November 1, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The funeral service will follow at the same location on November 1, 2025, starting at 12:00 pm.

The committal service will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, also located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, on November 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
