James Goldstein

James was born in Chicago, Illinois, on February 17, 1948, to Leo and Ruth Goldstein.

James married Laurie Goldstein, and together they built a loving family. He dearly loved his daughters, Paula Pino (Joe) and Mindy Fonte (Derek), and cherished his grandchildren, Joey, Jimmy, Hailey, and Derek. His family meant the world to him. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach, driving his truck, the Oaks, and relaxing with a Miller Lite.

James is survived by his wife, Laurie; sister, Patty; daughters, Paula, Mindy; beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ruth; brother, Richard; sisters, Leona, Loretta, and Sandy.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2026 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

There will be a celebration of life to follow at Keith’s Oaks Bar and Grill.
