It has been many years since I have seen this man. Loved their visits to our family   The Fullers always loved company and family. He was a good man and he will be missed. Prayers for the family.

What a sweet service.  I just wanted to say how much my husband, Wayne, enjoyed talking to him when we visited.  Wayne loved guns just as cousin James did.  We looked forward to seeing him and Nellie when we visited Aunt Hattie Richwine.  Will be praying for comfort for all in the coming weeks.

Pop had such a amazing heart and was so loved by everyone. He called me twig from a old movie which made me feel like we had a special connection. he  never showed me anything but kindness. I didn’t know it at the time but all the memories he shared about the navy and cooking and how he meet Nellie  , will now and will always be cherished  for the rest of my life ❤️ I will never know the same kind of love my great grand father gave me 

Cousin James was such a delight to know.  I never got to spend alot of time with him but the time spent was wonderful.  He was such a kind, compassionate person and most of all a Christian.  It showed in all his actions.   I know you all will miss him and I pray for comfort for you all.

I met Jim Henderson when I was in HCSO Aux. He became a good friend, and many memories of his training he provided and company on those hours in the Patrol Car. He was a great man and will be missed but will live on in our minds and hearts for his service and contributions by being the man he was.

From the very first time I met Pop, it was like I had known him my whole life. Like he was my grand father. 😊  He was a very warm and kind man that would always hold a door for a lady or  anyone for that matter.  He loved everyone!  With a GREAT BIG honest kind of love that you don't see every day now.  He was generous, loyal and devoted to his Nellie and all of his family.  I could always look forward to the stories of either his growing up years or when he started courting Nana or in the military with his travels around the world or about his K-9 dogs or the "HSD" Sherriffs dept. There was ALWAYS stories...😁
Plenty of them.  And they never got old to me.  I love this precious man as if he were my own Grandfather and I will NEVER forget him or his lessons about life.  Thank Poppy for teaching me forgiveness 🙏 and how to smile and walk on through life even after hardship. You are and will always be one of my greatest role models.     i❤u

Uncle James was my Great Uncle. I was blessed that my wife and three adopted daughters had the opportunity to meet Uncle James and Aunt Nellie.  He was a good man, an inspiration, and role model for many. I enjoyed getting to visit and wished I had the opportunity to visit more. He will be deeply missed.

Captain Henderson was one of the first people to welcome me when I started at the HCSO.  He was always there to assist or provide council and encouragement. I always appreciated his lovely sense of humor.

Captain Henderson was respected by all. He was a great leader and gentleman who looked out for his troops. 

Uncle James was always the most pleasant man I have ever known.  He always had a twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face. He was always respectful and kind to everyone he met.  I know he will be missed, but he is in Heaven with Aunt Nellie, his Mom and Dad and all of his brothers and sisters.

Deepest sympathy for the loss of your dad. He was a great man and always made me smile when he would come into the grocery store that I used to work at. He and your mom were such beautiful souls and will be greatly missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family.

I used to run into them in walmart and the Dr.s office. They always had a smile and were always friendly. I always enjoyed seeing them. Prayers for the family

 To look at him,  Uncle James was the most handsome physical giant to my little girl eyes. His eyes were always sparkling, his smile was so bright and he had the rosiest sun-kissed cheeks. I think he was truly the most kind and gentle man I ever knew.
But, more than that, he was a spiritual giant. He loved God with all of His heart, mind and strength, and others often more than himself. He was one of the most faithful, moral, loving men I have ever known, and I am a better person because of his presence in my life.
I loved him much and will miss him greatly, but I am thankful he is no longer suffering and is finally 'home' with Jesus.

I have known this wonderful man since I was a small child. My fondest memories are riding in his unmarked car typing letters and numbers in his computer and dispatch asking if he is ok. Lol.  Also, remember going to his home almost every Sunday after church hanging with his two grand daughters. I know he is with his beloved Nellie. I will miss these two awesome people.
