" I Love you so much. Every day you are with me,in every thing I do mostly at work,for most all my skills you taught me and the pride of doing any job well no matter how big or small. Yes, its because of you I have a love of yard work:raking,mowing,digging....I do them all with a smile and warm heart. We spoke every day at 6:00pm for hours we could talk of everything and nothing...I miss your voice so much it breaks my heart to know I never get to hear it again. You showed me true love of life... Thank you Dad for all the life lessons....I Love you and will see you again...Your little girl, Kathy Jean

We only had the pleasure of knowing Jim for 2 months this winter.  He was such a wonderful man...always on the go..we could see how close that he and Amy were...they spent alot of time walking the dog together.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

We where happy to know Jim over the last 15 years he always had a smile and was a terrific man to know we were always happy to help him in any way we could he will be missed greatly by us all here

Jim you came in my life 9yr ago and in that short time I learned so much from you and I thank you for all the life lessons you gave me I can only hope that as I go on that I am half them man you were and I will miss you

He was the kidness man that we ever knew. Pluse a very hard worker. He may be gone but not forgotten.

I will forever remember Jim with very fond memories; he always treated me 'like family' when I cared for Jimmy & Kathy as wee ones.  I thoroughly enjoyed being around him and his family.  A truly great person!  May God comfort his loved ones.

I've called you dad for so long-since you and mom took this silly little lost teenager in and gave me a home and a family.I can not imagine where I would be today if not for that blessed day.You always gave me sound advice-pointing out the obvious I'd overlook. I was so looking forward to this summers visit. It will be so empty with you not here. The girls and I will miss you much. Thank you for being my dad and the girls grandpa-and grandbabies pepa. Miss you always...love you forever.

Dear Grandpa,

Since I was a little girl, you have always been there me. Loved me and gave advice on lifes challenges. I was suppose to see you tomorrow here in Tennessee. I lost you suddenly and didnt get to say goodbye.  I miss you terribly and wish I could talk to you in person now.  Tell Grandma I love and miss her too and I know you both will be watching over me.  Thank you for all the wonderful times we had.  I will treasure them always.  Rest in Peace Grandpa. I Love you.

Uncle Jim was the best friend a man could ever have. When I was young he found time to play and horse arround. I have a picture of me sitting on his Indian Motorcycle wearing diapers. In my late teens he tought me how to ride. Later we worked on cars together and delivered papers with Lee. He spent many tireless hours helping us build our home. So much of my life included him it is hard to immagine a world without him in it. God bless all the family and all the people who's life he touched in some way. Praise God we will see him again one day in Heaven.

It was so nice to have meet you. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

     I was shocked to hear about your dad's death.  My heart goes out to you!!

My thoughts and prayers to the family. From all the stories I heard he was a wonderful man. I'm sure he will be a guardian angel for all of you.

Thank you sir for taking care of my mom when she was healthy and more importantly when she became ill.  You were a great man and will truly be missed by many.  Love you sir, RIP,  that be RIDE in PEACE!

Uncle Jim so glad to have finally found you so sad to have lost you so soon. Thank you for inviting us into your home with open arms and letting me meet my cousins that was one of the greatest days of my life. Greatest Man ever. My family and I were so lucky that my Mom came into his life. He became nothing but a Dad and friend to me and Worlds Greatest Grandpa to my kids.  We love you so and I can't even touch on how missed you will be.  Thanks now for being my ANGEL.

We were blessed to know Jim over the past 4 years as a friend. Jim was a quiet person and always friendly and always had a smile. He could out work people half his age and never complained. We had gotten used to seeing Jim walking his dog, Brutus. He will be missed by family, friends, and his dog Brutus.
