James Francis Marquis

Adrian, recently of Riverview, FL died on Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Tampa,

FL following a lengthy illness. He was born on October 16, 1946 to Norbert

J. and Mary C. (Ford) Marquis in Adrian, Michigan, where he was raised on

a dairy farm. Frank drove truck for the Teamsters for over 30 years

before retiring. He enjoyed going fishing any chance he could.

Surviving are 4 children, Sallie Ann DeSeranno of Deerfield, MI, Christopher James (Angie) Marquis of Adrian,

MI, Stacie Lee Marquis of Blissfield, MI and James Thomas Marquis of Riverview,

FL; 3 sisters, Virginia McKown of Clayton, Carolyn Simon of Metamora, OH and

Elaine Dennis of Adrian; 5 grandchildren, LeeAnn, Stephanie, Terra, Jacob

and Thomas; 2 great-granddaughters, Tayah and Maranda and another on the

way and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death

by his parents, 2 brothers, Lawrence and Phillip Marquis and 1

sister, Marjorie Carr. In accordance to Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and

friends in Michigan will come together at a later date to celebrate

Frank’s life. Those wishing to make contributions in his memory may do so
