MCELVEEN JR., James Milton “Sonny”, 73, entered into rest November 29, 2011. Sonny loved fishing with his grandson, Justin, enjoyed all types race cars and racing and watching a good game of baseball. Sonny was a very loving father and grandfather. He was always a wonderful friend to everyone and always willing to lend a helping hand. He worked for Local 624 Pipefitters Union now Union 123 for numerous years. Sonny is survived by his loving daughters, Diana Turner (Robert) and Melody Maxim (John); sister, Shirley Ann Mason (Ken), grandchildren, Sabra Broussard, Kalie Turner-Ehrhardt (Richard), Justin Turner, Austin Howard and Zachary Howard and an extended loving family and friends. Sonny was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held 7PM with memorial visitation 6PM-7PM, Friday, December 2, 2011 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pepin Heart Center at UCH. Arrangements under the direction of Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon, FL.
