James J.W. or J Wesley Pope

POPE, James W. “J.W.”, 33, passed away October 11, 2010. He was a lifelong area resident who had a passion for civics and American history. He was an active member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church and served as the coordinator of the last two candidate forums and director of the community issues team. He was a proud American who served veterans and a beloved teacher and coworker, serving for six years at Mulrennan Middle School and this current year at Greco Middle School. He was a devoted and loving husband and daddy. He is survived by his wife, Jaquette; sons, Jayden Wesley Pope, age three and Jackson Lee Pope, age one; father, James J. Pope, Jr. and wife Sherry; and mother, Candie Evans; mother and father-in-law, Joyce and Jack Teaney; grandparents, James J., Sr. and Ann Pope; sister and brother-in-law, Deana and Michael Tuzzolino; brother-in-law, David Teaney; four nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends at Bell Shoals Baptist Church from 1-3 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bell Shoals Baptist Church-Pope Family Fund.
