THOMAS, James Edward Jr., 69, of Gibsonton passed away February 7, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a Charter Member of Titus Baptist Church of Riverview. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leara Nancy and James Edward Thomas, Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Margaret. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Linda; six sons, James E. Thomas (Catori), Jesse Thomas, Richard Thomas (Anna), Randy Holloway, Johnny Kimbrough, and Ricky Holloway; daughter, Johanne Dickerson (Jimmy); brother, Wayne Thomas (Marie); sisters, Carol Hill, Betty Lamberson and Patricia Hartsfield; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home.
